When first getting started with essential oils, it can seem overwhelming with all the different oils. It can be difficult to know where to start, which essential oils you need, and how to use them. Since this is such a common question, I wanted to share the top 5 best essential oils for beginners.
It is amazing how there are so many great ways to use these oils! Below are the top 5 essential oils for beginners.
1. Lavender
Lavender is one of the most popular essential oils used around the world. The reason why it is so popular is because there are so many great ways to use it!
Sleep Support-
Lavender has calming and soothing qualities which make it a great way to help promote a calm and restful sleep. You can dilute with a carrier oil and apply topically or add to a diffuser about 30 minutes before bed.
Hair Support-
Lavender essential oil helps to promote healthy hair. Add a couple of drops to your shampoo or conditioner or use it as part of a deep hair conditioner.
Calming-
Lavender is a calming and soothing essential oil, and it is perfect for babies or kids. You can diffuse this oil or dilute and apply topically. Make sure when using essential oils with babies and kids that you dilute properly. A general recommendation is 1 drop of essential oil per 1 tbsp of carrier oil for babies.
Skin Support-
