Essential oils are a staple in every “natural” home. When using essential oils, there are certain must have supplies that are essential to have on your journey.

1. Carrier Oil

When using essential oils topically, it is important to dilute them. That is why carrier oils are very important.

A carrier oil is an oil that you add to your skin along with an essential oil to help dilute the essential oil because of their potency. These oils help the essential oil to absorb into the skin, and they also help reduce the irritation that some essential oils can cause.

Since essential oils are very potent, it’s very important to know the proper dilution for ourselves and our families.

There are a lot of different carrier oils out there today that you can buy and use. My personal favorite is fractionated coconut oil, but there are many others. Some of them include:

• jojoba oil
• coconut oil
• olive oil
• sweet almond oil
• pomegranate seed oil
• grapeseed oil

2. Essential Oil Resources

Essential oil resources and books are must have essential oil supplies because there is a lot of information regarding essential oils. It is a great idea to keep some resources at your fingertips so that you can know how to safely and effectively use these natural tools. Diffusers are so useful when it comes to essential oils. There are so many therapeutic benefits oils offer, and a lot of them can be achieved aromatically through a diffuser. Since they are affordable, it is possible to keep some in important rooms throughout the home or office.

There are many kinds of diffusers, and they can be found anywhere! Here is my favorite diffuser, and one that I get the most compliments on!
