DIY Toxic-Free Foaming Hand Soap

Do you want easy ways to use essential oils to create toxic-free and inexpensive products for your home? Here is one of my favorite DIY Toxic-Free Foaming Hand Soap Recipes!

Why use toxic-free hand soap?

There are so many harmful chemicals in most hand soaps. That is why it is so important to find a safer soap alternative and what better way to do that than to make it yourself!

You can use the Environmental Working Group’s website to see how harmful certain hand soaps and beauty care products can be! It is so important to watch out for the toxic ingredients and stay away from them as much as you can.

Ingredients Needed:

• Pure Castile Soap
• Glass Foaming Hand Soap Dispenser
• Fractionated Coconut Oil 
• Essential Oils

In addition to these ingredients, you will need a tbsp in order to measure everything out correctly.

DIY Toxic-Free Foaming Hand Soap Recipe:

• 2 tbsp Pure Castile Soap
• 1 tbsp Fractionated Coconut Oil 
• 10 drops of Essential Oils of your choice. I used peppermint in this demonstration, but some other great options are tea tree, lemon, or lavender.

I like to add the Castile soap, fractionated coconut oil, and essential oils before adding the distilled water. Some people like adding the water first and then add in the other ingredients. See what works best for you, but make sure to leave room at the top so that the mixture doesn’t overflow when you put the cap on.
