Once you have all your supplies, you are ready to get started creating custom blends for yourself and your family!
You want to make sure you are using the correct dilution ratio since essential oils are potent. The general dilution recommendations are:
Babies- 1 drop of essential oil per 1 tbsp organic carrier oil
- If you want to blend two essential oils together, then put one drop of each into a glass bowl. Add 2 tbsp of the organic carrier oil, and then mix. You can then pour this mixture into the roller bottle.
Kids- 2-3 drops of essential oil per 1 tsp organic carrier oil
Adults- 3-6 drops of essential oil per 1 tsp organic carrier oil
An important tip to remember is that every body is different. What works best for one child, might not work well for another. Therefore I always recommend taking the “less is more,” mentality.
Start with less. You can always add more if needed.
Essential Oil Roller Bottles for Kids and Babies:
Now you can begin creating your essential oil roller bottles for your kids! Always start with a clean roller bottle. I love using these for my family! There are also 5 ml roller bottles or 30 ml roller bottles you could use as well!
You add in the drops of essential oils needed, then top off the roller bottle with the organic carrier oil you prefer using. I love using organic fractionated coconut oil, but any of the ones listed above will work too! Put the top and cap back on, and you are ready to start using!
It is recommended waiting 24 hours before using in order to let the oils blend together. While you wait, you can add on your labels.
There are many different kinds of labels, so you will be able to find the perfect ones to use!
