Essential Oil Fresh Mattress Spray
There are so many easy ways to use essential oils throughout your home. One great way to use them is to create an essential oil fresh mattress spray that you can use each time you change the sheets!
Why should you use essential oils?
It’s so important to use non-toxic solutions in your home. There is more and more research being done about the harmful effects that chemicals have on our health.
With so many chemicals found all around us, using natural solutions in our homes can help us to limit the exposure of our families.
Essential oils help us to do that by providing ways to create easy DIY non-toxic cleaning solutions.
Fresh Mattress Spray Recipe:
Here is a great recipe to use to help refresh your mattress. Not only is it easy to make, but it’s easy to use each time you wash your sheets!
Materials Needed:
- 4 oz glass spray bottle
- 20 drops lavender essential oil
- 20 drops eucalyptus essential oil
- 2 oz vinegar
- Water
Directions:
- Add essential oils and vinegar to the glass spray bottle.
- Fill it the rest of the way with water, and make sure to shake it well.
- Shake before each use.
It can be sprayed directly onto mattress, and you can allow it to sit for a couple of hours.
As you can see, this recipe is simple to make. It not only helps to freshen up your mattress, but it’s also non-toxic!
