Essential oils provide so much support in our daily lives. There are so many ways to use them, and a lot of therapeutic benefits. Today I’m sharing one of my favorite ways to use essential oils. How to make an essential oil spray bottle
There are very few supplies needed for making essential oil spray bottles depending on the recipe you are using.
What are the materials needed for a DIY body spray?
Like I said previously, there are very few supplies that are needed.
- Essential oils
- Glass spray bottles for essential oils
- Witch hazel
- Water- I use distilled water, but you can also use boiled and cooled filtered water.
How to make essential oil spray bottles.
- Start with the 4 oz glass spray bottle
- Add in about 30 drops of essential oils (depending on the recipe)
- Put in 1 tbsp witch hazel (optional)
- Fill the rest of the way with water
- Put back on the glass spray bottle top and shake well
That’s it! These essential oil spray bottles are just another easy way to start incorporating using essential oils into your daily routine, so you can enjoy all the therapeutic benefits.

1. Happy Body Spray Recipe
To make this body spray:
- 8 drops Frankincense essential oil
- 8 drops Ylang Ylang essential oil
- 6 drops Bergamot essential oil
- 6 drops Orange essential oil
- 2 drops Clary Sage essential oil
- 1 tbsp witch hazel (optional)
- fill 8 oz glass spray bottle the rest of the way with distilled water
- put on spray top and shake to mix well

10. All-Purpose Cleaner Spray
To make cleaner spray:
- 16 oz glass spray bottle
- 1 cup distilled white vinegar
- 2 cups distilled water
- 25 drops of essential oils (citrus, clove, tea tree, or eucalyptus oils)
Swirl it around to mix the ingredients, then use it right away or as needed.
As you can see, these recipes are not only easy to make, but they are also easy to use once they are made!
As an added bonus, these recipes often cost less than store bought alternatives that are made with ingredients that aren’t as natural.
