Easy DIY Sea Salt Spray
This DIY sea salt spray is an easy solution for when you want the look of natural beach waves without all the chemicals and toxins. Not only that, but it also is an inexpensive way to attain that beachy look and feel you have been wanting!
What does sea salt spray do to your hair?
Sea salt spray helps to provide you with those beachy waves in your hair without having to spend all day at the beach. Since it’s made with essential oils, it’s a great way to help support your hair as well.
Since this recipe is made with epsom salt, it can be drying to the hair, so make sure not to use this spray everyday. A great practice is to help condition the hair with a good conditioner or oil (like coconut oil) during your hair routine.
This DIY recipe is a great way to get the look you want at home without having to spend a lot of money as well.
Easy DIY Sea Salt Spray Recipe:
Materials Needed:
- 4 oz glass spray bottle
- 3 oz warm water
- 1 ½ tablespoons of epsom salt
- ½ teaspoon of Sea Salt
- ¼ teaspoon organic argan oil
- 20 drops of essential oils (lavender, rosemary, or lemon)
Directions:
- Add all the ingredients except the essential oils into a mixing bowl or measuring cup. Stir all the ingredients well.
- Add that mixture to the glass spray bottle. We are using a glass spray bottle since we are using essential oils in our recipe.
- Add in the desired essential oils.
- Put the spray bottle cap back on, and shake well.
*Note- Sea salt spray can be drying to your hair which is why there is ¼ teaspoon of organic argan oil. You can also use coconut oil in place of argan oil.
