This essential oil helps to promote a positive outlook. Diffuse to lift your mood while experiencing a calming effect. It is able to directly act on the olfactory system of the brain. It can also be combined with a carrier oil and massaged onto the temples and the back of the neck.
Ylang ylang also helps to reduce the effects of daily stress and tension. Blend with a carrier oil and massage into back of shoulders.
To help reduce women’s monthly stress, combine 2 drops of ylang ylang and 2 drops of lavender. Apply this mixture topically to the back of the neck or lower abdomen.
3. Wild Orange Essential Oil
Wild orange is a great essential oil to use before a stress-filled day. You can diffuse for an energizing and revitalizing aroma.
If you do not have access to a diffuser, a quick essential oil hack is to place one drop each of Wild Orange, Peppermint, and Frankincense into your hand. Rub hands together and inhale deeply for an energizing aroma. You get all the benefits of diffusing these essential oils, but without the diffuser!
